カサブランカでのトランジットを経て、マラケシュに着いたのは午前０時・・・。ついに念願のアフリカ大陸の土を踏む。北京で感じたような猛烈な違和感はなかった。空港のサインも基本的にフランス語とアラビア語なので、まったくわからない。

Finally I was on the African continent, my dream; I didn't feel any unnatual
feeling unlike at Beijing. Since most signs were written in Franch & Arabic
I couldn't get them at all.
